Reservations & party sizes…
We do not take reservations. Our space is intentionally intimate and relaxed, available to you whenever you choose to join us.
We are unable to accommodate parties of seven or more. Our menu, our room, and the experience we aim to offer are all built for smaller, more intimate groups.
Parking…
Please do not park at El Paraiso or Patton Square. We have a lot in the back that is accessible by Greenbriar (the alley-ish road that runs behind Leo’s). Greenbriar and Parkwood Road have plenty of street parking as well. Of course we intend to quench your thirst so car services are always a fantastic option.
It all started when…
We decided to make a dream a reality. After years of being mesmerized by a nine hundred square foot cinderblock building tucked behind a giant tree on Haywood Road, we finally found a way to give it new life. For two years we stripped it to its bones and dressed it back up, honoring its quirks while shaping it into something soulful and welcoming.
Opened by Drew Wallace, founder of The Admiral and The Bull and Beggar, Leo’s is an intimate neighborhood wine bar and restaurant. Wallace found the perfect partner in Chef Austin Inselmann, who has created an approachable yet elegant menu with a wide sense of intention. Our dinner offerings can be a simple accompaniment to a glass of wine or a full, memorable dining experience.
The wines we select are made with integrity by farmers and producers who care deeply about place, story, and expression. We think of ourselves as a supernatural wine bar, grounded in craftsmanship and guided by curiosity.
Leo’s is meant to be your cozy neighborhood spot, whether you are stopping in for a glass, a snack, a bottle to take home, or a leisurely dinner among friends. We hope it feels like a place you can settle into, time and time again.
Animals…
We allow very very very well behaved dogs to be on a leash in our garden area only, not inside or on the covered deck.
